• Staff: 20 professors, 1 teaching staff for special assignments, 35 scientific staff, 11 technical and administrative staff, 3 apprentices

• Courses of study in optical technologies

• Optical technology study programmes and research services are available on the basis of multidisciplinary skills in the areas of physical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering and precision engineering
• Application orientated undergraduate (3 years bachelor courses) courses thanks to an in tegrated placement term as well as co-operation with companies throughout Germany

Training and further education

• Undergraduate courses (3 years bachelor courses) in physical engineering, with the emphasis on technical optics and laser technology

• Advanced training course: laser safety officer
