The Laser-Laboratorium Göttingen carries out application-oriented basic research, mainly with lasers that emit in the ultraviolet spectral range.
It co- operates closely with Max-Planck-Institutes, Universities and Universities for Applied Sciences and Arts as well as the precision mechanics/optical industry. Young scientists can gain first experiences in practical work here and write their exam theses.
