The event will feature many of the leading global figures in nanotechnology, from industry, research and the public sector.
Conference
Nanotech Northern Europe brings together the field’s top scientists and leading international companies in order to advance the beneficial use of nanotechnology.
The 2008 conference builds up around three key-themed days, each featuring a number of prominent international speakers from academia and leading innovative companies. The program below gives you an idea of what is coming up – new speaker names will be added and the conference will have a call for contributed presentations opening in December.
Call for Contributions
The call for contributions has now been opened; you’ll find the call topics and details about how to submit below. We’re looking for presentations of innovative research work, which fits within the focus areas of the event, and which also demonstrates an awareness of the potential applications. Topics include:
- Sustainable solutions for energy and environment
- Nanotechnology-enabled ICT
- Nanobiotechnology and nanomedicine
- Plus special sessions on nanotechnology and food, safety and risk management, public funding of nanotechnology, research-industry cooperation, business development, and global nanotechnology
Submissions are welcomed from universities, research centres and companies. For more information, go to: www.nanotech.net/content/conference/
Exhibition
The Nanotech Northern Europe 2008 exhibition will take place in parallel with Biotech Forum and Scanlab. You can find detailed exhibition information at:
