The high interest in the first three international workshops on fiber lasers supported their idea of another workshop on this topic in November 2008, hosted together with the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC).
The fourth international workshop will offer you and us an excellent platform to exchange both experience and knowledge. In Dresden, a town which is regarded as a manifold center of science and research, they will demonstrate the state-of-the-art of this technology as well as latest fiber laser applications. Be involved, when experts from research and industry will present current trends on fiber lasers in different fields of industry. Additionally to the conference programme, the workshop will offer the possibility to discuss future requirements towards production and application of fiber lasers, and to identify their market potential.
