Due to such trends and the outstanding success of the three former Symposia we were encouraged to organize this fourth Symposium in upcoming September. VaCMeSS 2008 is a unique meeting of international experts in the field of vacuum coatings on metal strips and sheets from

• vacuum equipment suppliers,
• coating companies as well as
• research institutes.

We decided to make the VaCMeSS 2008 a more complex and efficient 1-Day-Symposium. Therefore, the VaCMeSS 2008 will now be held on the 25th September covering the most requested topics in three sessions and supplemented by a Laboratory Tour through the FEP. The Symposium Dinner on the evening of the 25th September will be a nice occasion for all VaCMeSS 2008 participants to come together for the grand final of the Symposium.
